Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Toolspine ("we", "us") collects when you visit https://toolspine.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Toolspine is a curated directory of AI tools — we don’t require an account or login to browse the site.

We collect two kinds of information:

• Usage data — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and outbound clicks to listed tools. This is collected automatically via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics/Speed Insights.
• Information you provide — if you submit a tool for listing, we collect the tool details and the contact email you enter. We use this only to review and, if approved, publish the listing, or to follow up about it.

We do not require or collect passwords, and we do not sell personal information.

Toolspine uses cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics to measure traffic, and may use Google AdSense (or other ad networks) to display ads. These networks and their partners may set cookies or use device identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance.

You can control ad personalization directly through Google at adssettings.google.com, and read more about how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

• To operate, maintain, and improve the directory and its search/filtering features.
• To understand which tools and categories visitors find useful (via aggregated analytics).
• To review and respond to tool submissions and other inquiries sent to us.
• To serve and measure advertising, where enabled.

Toolspine links out to third-party AI tools and services we don’t operate. Once you leave toolspine.com, that provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply — we aren’t responsible for how they handle your data. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ and Vercel’s standard retention windows. Tool submission details are kept for as long as needed to review and maintain the listing, or until you ask us to delete them. We use industry-standard hosting (Vercel) and database providers and take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing (e.g. ad personalization, under GDPR/CCPA and similar laws). To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@toolspine.com and we’ll respond as required by applicable law.

Toolspine is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Certain tool categories on Toolspine are restricted to users 18 and over — see our Responsible Use policy.

We may update this policy as the site or applicable law changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
